Turkish construction company Kolin is to come next month for an investment visit to Zambia.
According to deputy head of mission to Turkey Mr. Bwalya Nondo this decision was taken after an investment promotion meeting held between the company’s co-ordinator, Kemal Kologlu, and Zambia’s ambassador to Turkey, Miriam Mulenga at the Kolin’s headquarters in Ankara.
Kolin’s Investment in Zambia is a part of total of 119 projects worldwide worth USD5.8 billion executed by the company.
Mr. Kologlu, the company’s coordinator said that Zambia has favorable environment for investment.
According to Mrs Mulenaga Kolin’s diversifition in agriculture, food processing, leather industry, tourism, mining and energy, will greatly impact the Zambian economy once the Turkish group establishes in the country.
