MEDEF French Business Delegation To Visit Zambia In June 1st-3rd 2015 And to Meet With ZDA

A delegation of the “Mouvement des Entreprises de France” (MEDEF International) is scheduled to visit Zambia on a fact finding mission at the beginning of June 2015.

The delegation which will be led by Gerard Wolf, Vice Chairman MEDEF Africa Committee & Chairman Brics Access is composed of representatives from French companies interested in investing Zambia and the opportunities in the Zambian economy.

MEDEF will be in be in Lusaka from June 1st to 3rd, 2015 and will have a series of meetings with senior government officials, the Zambian business community and the French Ambassador to Zambia.

The officials will have discussions with government on the Zambian economy and possible common projects in order to strengthen the existing bilateral economic relationship.

Meanwhile, Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) Director General Patrick Chisanga is expected to make a presentation to the delegation at Intercontinental Hotel, in the presence of the Zambian Private Sector Alliance (ZPSA) on the fiscal framework, the business environment and business possibilities, potentialities and opportunities in the country.

MEDEF says this will be the first ever visit to Zambia and has expressed happiness with the opportunity to meet with ZDA management to discuss business opportunities in Zambia, one of Africa’s growth engines.

This is the first time the French organisation will visit Zambia.

MEDEF International is the most representative organisation of the French private sector at an international level. It represents the French Business Confederation (MEDEF) and its 800,000 companies, in the world.

It also gathers more than 6,700 French companies already operating in the world, in 77 Business Councils headed by 40 CEOs of major international French companies.
