Zambia Agribusiness Incubation Trust To Support 100 SMEs In Agriculture

Zambia Agribusiness Incubation Trust (AgBIT) has announced it is targeting to support 100 Zambian small and medium enterprises (SMEs) involved in agribusiness in 2015.

According to Habeenzu Mukwemba, AgbBIT supply chain manager, the support will be in the form of know-how, technology transfer and access to finance and markets.

Established with the initial support of the Danish International Development Aid (Danida) through the Universities, Business & Research in Agriculture Innovation (UniBRAIN) Facility, AgBIT is Zambia’s pioneer agribusiness incubator, focused on accelerating innovation and the growth of scalable enterprises in the sector.
