The Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce Trade and Industry is participating in the Milan Expo 2015 alongside 124 other countries to showcase Zambian foods in the Legumes and Fruit Cluster.

Among the foods on display at the Zambian pavilion are soya products, coffee, jams, bottled fruit juices, various nuts, peanut butter and chillies.

With 13 million people and a large agricultural capacity – thanks to its fertile and productive soil – Zambia is able to generate an agricultural surplus destined for export.

Information on tourist attractions and opportunities for investment is also being given to visitors.

The theme for the Expo that opened on May 1st 2015 and and ends on 31st October, 2015 is “Feeding the Planet, Energy for the Future.”

The Expo offers an opportunity for participating countries and organisations to reflect upon, and discuss, solutions to the contradictions of our world today.
